Sherry
Owner/Hair Stylist
My name is Sherry Pilon and I am the proud owner of Impressions Salon. I am a Journeyman Cosmetologist and Senior Stylist with over 23 years experience.
My career began in Waskesiu where I specialized in wedding services, cutting, coloring and esthetic treatments. I moved on to Saskatoon, spending many years training to become a Color Correction Artist and perfecting my craft through ongoing education and working with highly qualified and competitive teams.
My daughter was born in 2005 and this not only changed my life but also my professional motivations. So I started working out of my home in Saskatoon while also running a home-based daycare. I enjoyed being self-employed and as my daughter was growing, so was my yearning to own my own brick-and-mortar business. So in January 2008, I opened the doors to Impressions Salon.
Over the past 14 years of owning Impressions Salon, I have worked under and learned from some of the greatest icons in the hair industry, including John Paul DeJoria, owner of Paul Mitchell, Robert Cromeans, Angus Mitchell, Takashi Kitamura, and Stephanie Kocieiski.
My work has been shared across many social media pages and platforms including Joico International, Joico Canada, Salon Centre Canada and Unite Haircare.
I’m proud of the journey that got me this far and I’m looking forward to what the future holds!

Salon Manager
My name is Danielle Pilon and I am the Manager at Impressions Salon. I’m proud to have been with the business from its beginning. Before Impressions, I attended Saskatoon Business College with plans of entering the medical field however, Sherry gave me an opportunity that spoke to my soul.
Often, I will be the first person to welcome you when you come to the salon as I help you schedule appointments and assist with any questions you may have. Whether you’re beautifying needs are big or small, I look forward to helping you achieve exactly what you are looking for from our talented team of professionals.
Ashley P
Hair Stylist
My name is Ashley Parenteau. I’ve been a hairstylist at Impressions Salon since 2013 after completing my training at Marvel Beauty School. I specialize in men’s and women’s cutting and coloring techniques. I continue to train in the latest hair trend classes to be able to offer my clients the best. My latest achievement is becoming a Provincial Ambassador for the Amika hair care brand.
Bertha
Hair Stylist
My name is Bertha Klaassen. I am a Journeyman Hairstylist. In 1978 I took my training at Marvel Beauty School in Saskatoon. My primary training was cutting, roller sets, perming and coloring.
I started my career at Gordon’s House of Beauty in 1980 at the Bessborough Hotel. In the years to follow, I owned and operated my own salon. Deciding it was time for a change I started renting a chair at Impressions Salon and now also hold a position as a Resident Hairdresser at the Rosthern Mennonite Nursing Home.
I love my job. I love my clients and am always happy to have them in my chair.
Kim
Massage Therapist
I am Kim, an RMT and owner and operator of Solara Massage Therapy. Graduating with honours from the 2-year Massage and Hydrotherapy program at McKay Career Inc in 2018, I put my entire focus on the health and wellbeing of my clients.
After becoming a Rapid-Neurofacial Reset Specialist, I added Cupping and Craniosacral Therapy Level 1 & 2 to my certifications. This helps to enhance my clients’ ability to manage chronic pain, aid in injury recovery, and overall good body maintenance.
I specialize in the little extras that make an immense difference in massage services, from hot towels to help with relaxation, top-of-the-line heated massage tables, natural no-scent oils, and an inviting environment geared towards the client’s comfort.

Nurse Practitioner Cosmetic Injectables
My name is Holly Samuel, I am a Registered Nurse Practitioner and owner of Expressions Aesthetics. I have been a registered nurse since 1996 in various settings, including acute care nursing, forensic nursing, quality management, and patient safety.
In 2012 I became a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and have been working within the community of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
In October 2021, I opened Expressions Aesthetics and am excited to offer services at Impressions Salon.
Natalie
Nail Technician
My name is Natalie Hunter and I am the proud owner and operator of Polish Perfect Nails. I completed my nail course at Premiere Nail Studio in 2018 and soon after started working at Impressions Salon.
I offer gel or acrylic applications with as much or as little detail and colors as you can think of. You can count on me to be up to date on the latest nail trends as I have a bit of a nail polish addiction. Nails are a fantastic way to express yourself and show your inner creative beauty.
